DeepStore support charity auction initiatives that make a positive difference in the local community.
DeepStore and Compass Minerals were delighted to support the St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice Summer Auction by donating an exclusive guided tour of the Winsford rock salt mine.
The charity auction was a huge success, raising more than £7,000 to support the vital work carried out by St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice. The unique mine tour proved especially popular with bidders, becoming the second highest selling auction lot of the event.
This October, DeepStore and Compass Minerals welcomed the winning bidders to the Winsford rock salt mine for an exclusive tour. During the visit, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the salt mining process, from extraction through to processing. They also had the opportunity to hear how the unique underground environment enables DeepStore to provide highly secure storage solutions.
Dan Harrison from St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice said: “We would like to thank DeepStore and Compass Minerals for their generous support of our Summer Auction. Their donation of an exclusive Winsford rock salt mine tour generated tremendous interest and became one of the auction’s top-performing lots. The funds raised will help St Luke’s continue providing compassionate care and support to local people and their families across Cheshire. We are proud to work alongside businesses that share our commitment to supporting the community.”
We are proud to have contributed to such a successful fundraising event and to help support the incredible work carried out by St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
