Our commitment
At DeepStore we are passionate about helping our planet, which is why we place sustainability and the environment at the core of all we do.
We are ISO 14001 certified, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to minimising our impact on the environment both at present and in the future.
Our unique storage facility, which lies in the UK’s largest salt mine in Winsford, utilises a wealth of underground space, allowing us to minimise our environmental impact that is associated with the construction of a new storage facility above ground. The stable natural temperature also helps us eliminate the CO2 emissions that are produced in other climate-controlled storage facilities.
The Winsford site is also part of an active protected species program, including a range of animal welfare initiatives, which are monitored by trained ecologists.
