DeepStore and Compass Minerals were delighted to support the annual St Luke’s Summer Auction, by offering an exclusive underground tour of Winsford rock salt mine, the U.K.’s oldest and largest working mine. The unique mine tour experience was one of 26 lots auctioned off to raise vital funds for St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice, which serves a population of 300,000 adults across Mid & South Cheshire, providing care and support to people and their families affected by life-threatening illnesses.

“Thank you so much to Compass Minerals for donating your unique experience prize to our recent online Summer Auction. The Auction netted over £5,000 for patient care, which at a traditionally quiet time for charity fundraising (summer holidays!) is a great result!”

Andy Bailey, Corporate Partnerships Manager, expressed his gratitude

In addition to supporting the Summer Auction, the DeepStore and Compass Minerals Charity Committee were pleased to donate a cheque of £1,835.75 to St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice. We are deeply honoured to support the invaluable work that St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice provides to the local community and look forward to continuing our support for the charity.
