How long have you worked in the industry and at Deepstore?
I started working in the industry in 2016, a few months after my arrival to the UK. One year later I decided to have a permanent job and I was enrolled in Deepstore.
What does your typical day look like?
Surprise surprise… Just come in at your shift time and luckily there’s a run sheet in your tray. Maybe one drop, maybe a long day. Fortunately, most of our customers are glad to see us coming with their requests, and that welcoming makes our day easy.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself?
My accent, mispronunciation… That’s what you can feel about me, but I really struggle sometimes trying to follow a conversation, so I’ll stare at you seriously, even when you try to tell me a joke. My face will relax when finally, I understand you.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I try to keep fit and active, but I avoid gyms.
Can you share a fun or quirky story from your time at DeepStore?
Probably the moment when I had to deliver a few heavy and big boxes to an old nice lady who wanted me to unpack the boxes for her too.
