Compass Minerals UK and DeepStore are proud to have sponsored a history timeline for Willow Wood Community Nursery and Primary School, a local school based in Wharton, Winsford.
The timeline starts with the formation of the solar system running to the present day, including a section on the town’s local history. The timeline has been installed on the wall of the playground for the children to enjoy.
Teacher and history co-ordinator at the school, Kate Hughes, said: “Our children at Willow Wood are keen historians and they have loved spotting the different time periods and events that they have been studying in their history lessons on our timeline. We are really grateful to Compass Minerals and DeepStore for their generous donation.”
