compass minerals and deepstore staff with Leighton Hospital donation

Compass Minerals and its subsidiary company, DeepStore, have made a £4,500 donation to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity.

The donation, from the company’s charity committee fund, was raised through various events held throughout the year and from employees’ own personal contributions to the fund.

The presentation took place at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

James Sumner, chief executive of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said, “We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Compass Minerals for their generous donation to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity.”

“Our charity team is currently focusing on supporting the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of our staff during this challenging time and this donation will make a huge difference to that work.”

“On behalf of everyone at the Trust, I’d like to say a big thank you for
this gift. It’s truly appreciated.”

Gordon Dunn, Managing Director at Compass Minerals, said, “We are always keen to assist those in our local community and it’s particularly important to support the NHS right now and do all we can to help during this critical time.”
