DeepStore was recently approached by an anonymous client and entrusted to create a bespoke space to store circa 200 individual pieces of artwork, all of which were unique and of high value.
To begin with we met with the customer and worked closely with them to understand their requirements to create a bespoke solution for them.
Secure Packaging and Handling
Our employees are well versed in handling rare and fragile materials and our specialist handling team worked with the customer at their site to handle and carefully pack the artwork.
Due to the precious value of the artwork, we provided purpose-built specialist wooden crates and T-frames. All the crates and T-frames used had soft wrap tissue with cotton ties, Tyvek, poly and bubble wrap to ensure the artwork was secure whilst being transferred to DeepStore.
Collection
For full discretion, the artwork was transported to our site in Winsford using our unbranded 18-tonne vehicle for anonymity. The vehicle is fitted with air ride suspension and GPS tracking for peace and mind.
All materials were handled by DeepStore’s specialist-trained handling staff and transferred to a dedicated, secure hanging area within our Winsford site.
Storage (Secure bespoke meshed area in 5454 conditions)
DeepStore worked with the customer to design a bespoke, secure hanging frame area where each piece of art is hung in accordance with the customer’s requirements. The area has been discreetly built in a secure area currently unoccupied, with CCTV, 5454 conditions, and entrances limited to the highest vetted staff only.

Secure and Accessible
The customer can retrieve items from DeepStore via our Customer Services team or by using an online ordering system. The online system is secure and allows customers to edit data, run reports and order flat-pack boxes or request retrievals. The system is offered to our clients free of charge.
Retrievals of files/boxes ordered before 4 pm will be delivered the next working day (up to a maximum of twenty items).
Customer audits and visits
Any authorised member of staff from the customer’s site can visit their secure DeepStore area housing the artwork. Each authorised person will need to be inducted and escorted for both safety and security purposes.
