DeepStore provides storage solutions for AMEC Plc, a global supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and product management services to the world's energy, power and process industries. This relationship began in 2000 when we started managing the records of NNC, the UK's leading private sector nuclear services business. AMEC acquired NNC in 2005, creating AMEC Plc. In 2006, AMEC initiated a process to divest four non-core businesses that make up the ‘Built Environment' division and various specialist businesses. A large quantity of legacy archive material relating to these was deposited in AMEC stores across the UK and required consolidation and relocation.

AMEC appointed DeepStore to remove archive material for various locations across the UK within agreed timescales. We deployed teams to AMEC sites to prepare and pack items for transit. One site involved more than 34,000 items, which was completed within a seven-week period.

DeepStore now stores and manages 55,000 items of AMEC's archive material at our unique underground facility in Winsford, Cheshire.
